You can catch Shad in Stardew Valley during the spring, summer, and fall when it's raining! Make sure you're fishing in the river. So basically, if it's wet outside, it's time to get your fishing pole.

Shad? Oh, those slippery little guys! Rainy days are their jam. Spring, summer, and fall - if it's raining, you've got a chance. Don't forget, rivers are where it's at for these fish.

Rain is your best friend when hunting for Shad. They only show up in the river during rainy days in the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Happy fishing!

Honestly, unless it's pouring, don't bother looking for Shad. They love the rain, so that's your cue to start fishing in the river during the right seasons.
