Honestly, guys, I started loving Boruto by the 'Chunin Exams' arc. It was nostalgic and brought back some of that old Naruto magic.
Give it until episode 50! Once past the Academy days, things get way more interesting with epic fights and a deeper story.
I watched with my kids, and we all got hooked right after the Nue arc. The plot takes off, and Boruto's character grows on you.
Hot take: Boruto's good from the start if you appreciate character development! Don't just compare it to Naruto.
