Subnautica isn't designed for multiplayer, so don't hold your breath waiting for it. Focus on enjoying the solo experience!
I've been playing since launch, and while the idea of multiplayer is cool, the game's single-player journey is what makes it so special.
Unfortunately, the developers haven't announced any multiplayer updates for Subnautica. Solo adventures it is!
