The shrines like in Breath of the Wild ain't in Tears of the Kingdom because they totally revamped the exploration vibe. Now, you've got these ancient Zonai Ruins popping up instead. These ruins are your go-to for puzzles and challenges. It’s all about that fresh feel while keeping the adventure spirit alive!

Shrines? Oh, they packed up and left. Jokes aside, Tears of the Kingdom swapped shrines for Zonai Ruins and other new mechanisms to keep us on our toes. Way cooler, if you ask me.

No shrines? No problem. The game's just evolving. Plenty of other ways to get your puzzle fix in the massive world of Hyrule!

Keeping shrines would've been repetitive. TOTK's new approach with Zonai Ruins is genius. Refreshing and keeps the game exciting.

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
