Ornaments? Just shake those sparkly cedar trees around Christmas time. Easy peasy.

You can get ornaments in Animal Crossing by shaking the decorated cedar trees in your village during the Festive Season! From mid-December to early January, these trees light up with Christmas lights and drop ornaments when shaken. You'll find red, blue, and gold ornaments to craft holiday items. Just be careful not to shake them too hard, or you might get a surprise visit from some bees!

Actually, the best way to stock up on ornaments is to visit your friends' islands too. More trees, more ornaments. Plus, it's a nice way to see how others have decorated their islands for the holidays!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
