Nonmetals are mostly chillin' on the right side of the periodic table, with the exception of Hydrogen which is a bit of a rebel hanging out on the top left.

You'll find nonmetals on the right side of the staircase, except for Hydrogen which prefers to be a lone wolf on the top left.
