Where is GTA San Andreas based on?
RavellingMane路7 months agoSan Andreas is basically the GTA universe's version of California and a bit of Nevada. Los Santos = Los Angeles, San Fierro = San Francisco, and Las Venturas = Las Vegas. They did a great job of mixing up the iconic sights and geography!

Just Cali vibes with a dash of Vegas, baby.
Honestly, think of it as an alternate reality California. You've got your Hollywood (Vinewood), your San Fran (San Fierro), and of course, Vegas (Las Venturas). It's like a road trip through America's West Coast, minus the traffic jams and expensive coffee.
GTA San Andreas draws its inspiration from the state of California, especially places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. The game's cities are fictional but Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas capture the essence of these real-world locations with a twist of Rockstar's unique humor and storytelling.
