Ancient Water in Slime Rancher is found in The Glass Desert through the fountains. Reactivate the fountains by solving the puzzles nearby (usually involving slimes and plorts). Good luck with your ranching venture!

Look for Ancient Water in the Glass Desert, near those fancy fountain things.

I remember finding Ancient Water near the Glass Desert's fountains by feeding some plorts to the statues around there. Once you reactivate a fountain, there's a countdown before the water dries up, so be prepared to water those Oases quickly. Happy ranching!

Honestly, just roam around the Glass Desert and pay attention to the surroundings. You'll find it.
