Keep an eye out for a gradual change in the scenery – that's your cue you're getting close. Then, prepare for some sun, because it's about to get sandy!

actually, everyone's saying go north but I found a quicker way by first heading east from the starting point, then north after you hit the big lake. Saves time and you dodge a lot of tough Pals.

Been there, done that. The desert is north, but pack lots of water for you and your Pals. It's a tough trek, but the creatures you find and the battles are so worth it.
