actually, everyone's saying go north but I found a quicker way by first heading east from the starting point, then north after you hit the big lake. Saves time and you dodge a lot of tough Pals.
The desert biome? Just keep wandering north and you can't miss it. It's the place where water is just a mirage and your Pals start questioning your decision-making skills.
Been there, done that. The desert is north, but pack lots of water for you and your Pals. It's a tough trek, but the creatures you find and the battles are so worth it.
