The first edition stamp on Pokemon cards is a little symbol that looks like a '1' inside a circle. You'll find it directly below the bottom left corner of the Pokemon illustration. It's pretty small, so you might have to look closely! This stamp means the card is from the first print run of a set, making it extra special to collectors.

Honestly, first editions are overrated. Just enjoy the game!

Under the picture, bottom left corner. If it's not there, then sorry, you don't have a first edition.

Look on the left, but really, not every card has it. Only the cool, first-run cards. Most of what you find nowadays won't have it, so if you do, it's a lucky find!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
