Just head towards the old golf course area on the map. You can't miss it – it's right there with some helpful loot nearby.

You can find the golf cart in Sons of the Forest near the abandoned golf course! Head to the west side of the map; it’s parked near some supplies.

Honestly, don't waste your time looking for the golf cart; it's not useful at all.

Look around the middle-western section of the island, close to the abandoned golf course. That's where I stumbled upon it.

From my experience, I found the golf cart on the west side where the golf course is supposed to be. It's near some fallen trees and supplies.
