You'll find metals in groups 1 and 2 (alkali and alkaline earth metals) and through groups 3 to 12 (transition metals). Basically, if it's shiny and conducts electricity, it's probably metal!

Metals are just about everywhere on the table except the far right鈥攖hink of it as a shiny sandwich with nonmetals as the crust!

Metals are mostly on the left side and center of the Periodic Table. Look for the s-block and d-block elements, plus the f-block at the bottom.

Most of the Periodic Table is metals. Just avoid the top right corner and noble gases, and you鈥檒l be golden!
