Nah, you folks got it all wrong. It's not like you can just play those files in any music player. The game streams music during gameplay. You're not supposed to access them directly like that.

The music for Geometry Dash on Steam downloads into the game's folder itself. You'll find it in the 'Resources' directory, which is inside the main Geometry Dash game folder in your Steam directory. Just navigate to Steam/steamapps/common/Geometry Dash/Resources, and you should see all the tunes there, ready to jam out even outside the game!
