The red switch is located in the Tower of the Wing Cap. To get there, you need to collect at least 10 Power Stars and look up at the sun mural in the castle lobby while standing on the rug. You'll be transported to a secret level where you can hit the red switch!

It's in the secret Wing Cap level. Get 10 stars, stand on the sun rug in the castle, and look up to soar to the switch!

You need to earn 10 stars first and then look up at the sun in the castle lobby to reach the Tower of the Wing Cap.

Just collect 10 stars, stand on the rug with the sun in the castle lobby, and look up. Voilà – secret level and red switch!
