Don't overthink it, the executable is in the game folder you installed it in... unless, of course, it's hiding.
For Xbox Game Pass users on PC, you can look in the default app installation directory. It's usually deeper buried, so happy hunting!
From personal experience, I found it in the 'StateOfDecay2' folder, under Program Files. Just follow the zombie breadcrumbs!
