Where is the Switch in Super Mario 64?
You gotta aim Mario's head to the light in the castle's main hall - it'll beam you up to the Tower of the Wing Cap where you can find the red switch.

I spent ages looking for this thing! Jump into the light in the castle lobby to find that elusive switch.
In Super Mario 64, you can find the Wing Cap Switch in the Tower of the Wing Cap below Peach's Castle courtyard. Look for a light beam and point Mario's view upwards to enter the level!
It's literally right there in the castle entrance. Look for a light beam. Boom, you're in the right spot.
