I was in Tokyo last summer and found a treasure trove of English Pokemon cards at a small shop in Akihabara. Don鈥檛 remember the name, but Akihabara is your best bet. The selection was incredible!

Your local Pokemon Center might have some, but from my experience, they mostly carry Japanese cards. Worth a shot if you're nearby, though.

For English Pokemon cards in Tokyo, your best bet is to hit up Akihabara. That place is like nerd heaven and has lots of shops that specialize in trading cards, including English ones. Also, check out Nakano Broadway. It鈥檚 another hotspot for collectibles and you鈥檒l likely find English Pokemon cards there as well.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
