Aluminum oxide is actually called ruby in Subnautica! You can find it near thermal vents and in the Blood Kelp Zone, Grand Reef, and the Lost River.

Lost River is the jackpot for rubies. Dive deep and explore the riverbeds and thermal vents for the best results!

Head to the Blood Kelp Zone or the Grand Reef for rubies. They're common around thermal vents and underwater caves there.

Just swim around the Blood Kelp Zone and you'll find rubies scattered like candy. Much easier than you think!
