Actually, you don't need them to play the game. Just crank up your brightness, and voila, night vision without the goggles. ?

Stealing from Area 69 adds that extra thrill, doesn't it? Snatched my pair from the control tower, and dodging those guards felt like being in an action movie. 10/10, would recommend for the adrenaline rush alone.
