Tangle slimes hang out in the Glass Desert, so start there! You'll find them sprouting up in dried-out oasis areas once you restore the ancient fountains. As for saber slimes, they're a bit tricky, since they don't appear as full slimes but as saber largo slimes on the Wilds map. Happy hunting!
