Look for the abandoned bunkers scattered around the island. They're often loaded with weapons and other goodies.
Honestly, I prefer using crafted weapons. They鈥檙e more sustainable and you don鈥檛 run out of ammo!
I found a shotgun in a bunker near the big lake on the map. Definitely worth the trip!
