Honestly? Just keep hitting up PokéStops by lakes or rivers. You’ll find Magikarps there more often than not.

Best way is to catch a ton of Magikarp near bodies of water and evolve one using 400 candies. Good luck!

Just wait for one of those Water-type events. Trust me, they throw Magikarps at you like it's going out of style!

To get Gyarados in Pokémon GO, you can catch a lot of Magikarp and evolve it—yep, you'll need 400 Magikarp candies! Alternatively, some Gyarados might show up in raids or special events, but that's rare.

I got mine during a Water Festival event. So keep an eye out for special events!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
