Trust me, keep your ship's cargo hold organized. It saves you from a lot of trips back and forth.
Just stash your goods in your spaceship's cargo hold - it acts like a mobile storage unit. Easy peasy!
Ship's cargo holds are the best place for storing resources. Outpost containers are a solid option too though.
In Starfield, use the cargo hold in your ship for the most part. You can also build storage units at your outposts for extra space!
