Actually, most Hot Wheels these days are manufactured overseas, mainly in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and China. However, back in the day, specifically when they first hit the market in 1968, Hot Wheels were made in the USA. Finding an American-made Hot Wheels car now would mean diving into the vintage collection!

Hot Wheels made in America? Good luck finding those now. Almost everything's made in Asia.

As a collector, I can tell you that American-made Hot Wheels are mostly vintage. They stopped manufacturing them in the U.S. a long time ago. If you're after those, check out the Redline series from 1968-1977. Those were the golden American-made years.
