Oh, the nostalgia of McDonald's Pokemon cards! Some of these beauties can fetch a pretty penny. The most valuable ones tend to be the holographic cards, especially from limited editions or special promotions. For example, the Pikachu from the 25th Anniversary set can be worth a lot, especially if it's in mint condition. Always check the latest sold listings on eBay or other collector sites to get the most current values.

Just to add a quick note: It's not just about the holo cards. Some non-holo cards from McDonald's, if rare enough, might also hold value depending on the demands of the collectors. But yeah, Pikachu is usually a good bet!

Honestly, most of them aren't worth the paper they're printed on. You're better off enjoying the nostalgia than banking on retirement with them.

From personal experience, I hit a mini jackpot with a holographic Charmander from a McDonald's promo pack. Sold it for way more than I expected. So, definitely keep an eye out for those holo starters!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
