I'd say go with the Introvert trait - it gives you a boost when exploring solo. Also pick Empath if you like dialog options!

Pick the Kid Stuff trait! You can visit your in-game parents for some extra character development and humor.
As someone who loves being versatile, I recommend the Trait combo of Empath and Alien DNA. They give cool dialogue options and an HP/stamina boost!
The Terrormorph trait is awesome for combat-focused players. Adds a serious edge to your fighting skills!
Go with no traits and just enjoy the pure, unmodified gameplay! I like to keep it simple.
