Rockstar Games. Period. They've been the face of GTA since forever. Sure, DMA Design got the ball rolling, but let's be real, Rockstar turned GTA into the giant it is today.
Actually, it's a bit of both. DMA Design, which Rockstar North was originally, kicked things off. But Rockstar Games, the publisher, played a huge role in shaping GTA into the blockbuster series we can't get enough of. Without either, GTA wouldn't be what it is today. So, hats off to both!
DMA Design, which later morphed into Rockstar North, gets the credit for creating GTA. But honestly, without Rockstar Games' magic touch, would we even be talking about GTA today? Doubt it.
