Father's basically the big bad guy in Brotherhood. He started as a flask-bound Homunculus and eventually becomes super powerful by absorbing a lot of souls.

Father is the main antagonist in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He's the original Homunculus and the creator of the seven Homunculi, each representing one of the seven deadly sins.
Father is actually the Homunculus who pretended to be Hohenheim's friend but tricked him and others into creating the Philosopher鈥檚 Stone. Big betrayal vibes there.
Just think of him as the ultimate evil mastermind. He wants to become a god and doesn't care who he has to sacrifice to get there.
