Superman would take it because of his versatility and array of powers. Hulk's strength isn't enough when Supes can fly, shoot lasers, and freeze stuff with his breath!
Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets, so in a prolonged fight, he might actually overpower Superman. Also, Hulk's healing factor is insane.
From my read of the comics, it鈥檚 pretty situational. Hulk could smash Superman if he gets mad enough, but Supes isn鈥檛 exactly a pushover.
