Most original Mortal Kombat characters were voiced by the game's designers and developers themselves! Ed Boon, co-creator of the series, voiced both Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Dan Forden, the sound designer, provided many of the iconic grunts and yells. Talk about multitasking!

Honestly, who needs pro voice actors when you've got developers willing to yell 'Get over here!' into a mic?

Fun fact: The original characters didn't have extensive voice work鈥攋ust a few classic lines and fighting sounds. It was truly a simpler time.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
