Dragon Ball AF is just a fan creation, not an official work by Toriyama. Got super popular though, which tells you how much people love Dragon Ball!
Dragon Ball AF was not an official series written by Akira Toriyama. It started as a fan-made continuation of the Dragon Ball series by various fans, with some notable contributions from the Spanish artist Toyble (also known as Toyotaro), who later became one of the official artists for Dragon Ball Super.
DBAF is fan fiction; it's as unofficial as it gets! Toyotaro did some of the famous fan art though.
