Check your vehicle's research efficiency. If you're playing a non-premium vehicle with low tier, it might be slower to earn points.
Honestly, sometimes the game just has bad days. But usually, it's because you need to focus on hitting targets and winning battles.
Make sure you're actually hitting stuff and not just flying around sightseeing! You only earn research points by dealing damage and completing objectives.
If you're in a squad, make sure you're pulling your weight. Support actions like spotting for allies can also earn research points!
