The Splatoon 2 servers can be a bit on the shaky side because Nintendo uses peer-to-peer connections for online matches. Basically, it's other players' connections messing things up, not the servers themselves!

It's frustrating, but the servers sometimes struggle due to the heavy traffic and the reliance on players' internet connections. Maybe it's time for Nintendo to catch up with dedicated servers, huh?

It's all about those peer-to-peer connections. If your squid pals have bad internet, you'll have a bad time.

I've played Splatoon 2 since day one, and trust me, the servers have improved a bit, but they do still have their off days. Patience, grasshopper!
