It's all about removing symbols that some folks feel celebrate a painful past. Gotta keep moving forward!
I live in Louisiana, and there's a big push to remove Confederate statues because they represent a dark part of history. It's controversial but important to many.
They're tearin' it down because it's seen as a symbol of racism and oppression. History's kinda complicated, huh?
