Actually, you can arm your dwellers in Fallout Shelter! You need to collect weapons either from exploring the wasteland, opening Lunchboxes, or crafting them in a weapon workshop once you've unlocked it. Make sure you've got enough weapons to go around, then just drag and drop a weapon onto a dweller to arm them. Sometimes it's about having the right gear at the right time!
Weapons? In my vault, we fight radroaches with harsh language and the power of positive thinking. Who needs weapons when you have spirit? (But yeah, just drag and drop weapons onto dwellers to arm them.)
You might not have any weapons to give them. Start by sending dwellers out to explore the wasteland or work towards building a workshop to craft your own.
