Probably because the Frontier is hardwired into your character's progression. You can't just sell your space RV!
You can't sell the Frontier in Starfield because it's your starter spaceship, and Bethesda probably thought it would be awkward if you sold your only ride into space!
You can't sell the Frontier because Bethesda wants to make sure you always have a reliable ship. It’s not just cargo, it's your home in space!
Imagine selling your spaceship and then being stuck on some random planet. Bethesda doesn't want that happening!
