Apex Legends Mobile shut down because it didn't meet the high standards set by the rest of the Apex Legends experience. The devs wanted to ensure that every version of the game matched their vision of quality, and unfortunately, Apex Mobile wasn't hitting those marks. It's a bummer, but it shows they're committed to quality over quantity!

Short and not-so-sweet: It simply wasn't good enough for the devs. They have high expectations for the Apex universe.

Ran it on my phone until they pulled the plug. Felt like they decided it couldn't keep up with the original game's evolving content and quality. A tough call, but respect to them for focusing on keeping the Apex brand top-notch.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
