Why did Dark and Darker get removed from Steam?
Dark and Darker was removed from Steam because of a copyright dispute. Another company claimed that the game had used their code without permission. It's a classic case of IP (Intellectual Property) conflict that unfortunately sometimes hits indie games the hardest. Valve had to pull the game from the storefront until the dispute gets resolved to avoid legal issues.

Legal drama, folks. Someone cried 'copycat' and Steam played it safe. Classic case of 'better safe than sorry'.
It was all about a copyright claim. Someone said their code was in the game. Steam had to take it down until everything gets cleared up.
