Well, Studio Wit moved on from Attack on Titan mainly because of the intense production schedule. The workload was just monstrous, much like the Titans themselves!

I heard from a friend in animation that Studio Wit wanted to focus on other projects. Balancing Attack on Titan's demanding schedule with new series was too tough.

Studio Wit dropped Attack on Titan because the series was running them ragged. They wanted to explore other opportunities and couldn't keep up with the pace.

Simple: the workload! Attack on Titan demanded a lot of time and resources, and the studio needed to breathe.
