Gintama is amazing, but its English manga sales didn't quite hit the mark. Fans might have to brush up on their Japanese!

It鈥檚 all about the money! When sales drop, publishers drop too. That's why Gintama's English run got cut short.

The Gintama manga stopped printing in English mainly due to low sales and market demand. Unfortunately, even the best samurai can't fight poor sales numbers!

I love Gintama as much as the next person, but the English manga just didn't sell enough. It was a sad day in my Gintoki-loving household.

If you're a Gintama fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
