Why Did War Thunder Remove the Maus?
ComputingTopaz路3 months agoGaijin Entertainment removed the Maus tank mostly because it was too rare and unbalanced for the game's matchmaking system. It was hard to balance such a beast with other vehicles!

Simple. The Maus was OP. Imagine being up against a tank that could take endless hits and still dish out massive damage. Not fun!
They took it out because it wasn't historically accurate for the scenarios they wanted to feature. It was more of a museum piece than a usable vehicle in realistic battles.
From what I remember, the Maus just didn't fit into War Thunder's evolving gameplay and balancing priorities. They wanted to keep things fair and fun.
