It might be due to high server traffic, especially after a new update or event. Try again later or restart your game.
This happened to me a lot when I had a weak Wi-Fi signal. Switching to a more stable connection (Ethernet) helped a ton!
Sometimes, it's just bad luck! But seriously, an outdated game version can also cause this. Check if you need an update.
