Make sure your Xbox and router are best friends and in close proximity. Walls and distance can be major party-poopers for the Wi-Fi signal.
If you're using Wi-Fi, switching to a wired connection can make a world of difference. Ethernet cables are the unsung heroes of stable gaming.
