Maybe some expected it to be the next Dead Space and felt disappointed. Unrealistic expectations ruin everything!
The combat system was divisive. Some thought it was clunky, while others found it an exciting challenge. Guess it's a matter of taste.
I personally loved the game, but a lotta people mentioned the lack of replay value and some performance issues on PC.
