Dude, if you're talking about Enmu in the Mugen Train arc, he attacks while they're asleep because his Blood Demon Art lets him control dreams. Creepy yet effective!

Enmu, the lower rank one demon, attacks while they're sleeping cuz it's way easier to mess with them in their dreams. Plus, who doesn鈥檛 love a good nap attack?
