People hate hitboxes in SFV because they're wonky and inconsistent. Sometimes they don't match the character's animations, leading to frustrating gameplay moments.

Hitboxes in Street Fighter V tend to be a bit... unpredictable. One minute you're nailing that perfect combo, the next you're whiffing punches through your opponent's head. Smh.

As someone with 500+ hours in SFV, the hitboxes definitely need some work. Too many moves just don't connect the way they should, and it really messes up the flow of the game.
