Why Does GeoGuessr Not Always Update the Map?
Sometimes the map doesn't update because Google Maps itself hasn't updated in that area. Google Maps updates Street View based on their own schedule, not GeoGuessr's.

GeoGuessr relies on Google Maps data, and Google doesn't update Street View images everywhere at the same time. So, don't blame GeoGuessr; it's a Google thing!
I've noticed that certain areas are slower to update because they're remote or less populated. Major cities get updated more frequently. Patience, grasshopper!
Hot take: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Who cares if it's not updated? It's still fun and educational!
