MTG Arena focuses on a streamlined digital experience, optimizing for faster, more accessible play. Commander games, with their larger decks, longer game times, and multiplayer format, present challenges for this model. They're working on it though, just gotta give it time!

It just doesn't. Maybe they think it's too complex or long for the quick game format Arena aims for. Simplicity is key online, I guess.

The absence of Commander in Arena boils down to the format's complexity and the game's current infrastructure. Implementing full multiplayer support and adapting the UI for Commander's extensive interactions and rules nuances are significant hurdles. But who knows, the future might bring updates!

Commander? On Arena? With its current setup, it'd be a nightmare to manage. Just stick to in-person or third-party platforms for that Commander fix.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
