Your center might be locking onto people in NBA 2K because of defensive assist settings. Try lowering the Defensive Assist Strength slider in the controller settings.

Had the same issue! Lower your Defensive Assist Strength slider to improve manual control.

Could be your defensive settings or the Auto Contest feature! Turn it off in the settings.

Honestly, the game鈥檚 default settings are just a bit aggressive. Tweak your settings and you鈥檒l be good.

Defensive Assist setting is too high. Lower it and you'll have more control.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
