Check your system's audio output devices. Make sure Fortnite is set to the correct output—sometimes it defaults to the wrong one.

Had this issue before; a quick reinstall of the game fixed it for me. Might be worth a shot!

If you're on PC, try updating your sound drivers. Outdated drivers can mess with audio in certain games.

First off, make sure your in-game audio settings aren't muted or set too low. Sometimes it's as simple as that!
